I started writing a bit later than I ahd planned this morning, but so far things are going well.

I’ve only written about 1000 words this hour, but if I keep that up then really I only have another 49 hours of writing to go this month. Haha!

I have really enjoyed this writing session. I’ve been super comfortable, just working from my sofa, and I feel like the words are flowing well. I know I’m only just introducing the characters, but I think there is some good dialogue and some decent descritions of the characters.

Still, I guess I’ll really find out how good it is when I read it back in a couple of months for the beginning of the editing process (if I get that far!).

Anyway, I am very please with the start of my NaNoWriMo this year. Let me know how yours is going. Are you on track for your first day? Have you been struggling to get started with the fearsome blank page?

EDIT: I ended up writing about 2000 words in my morning writing session. I might do some more writing later on though. I would like to get ahead of the game with the word count as I know I won’t do a lot of writing on work days.
